Supporting Bushy’s Big Birthday Bash!

Mzuri is proud to support the wonderful Bushy Leaze nursery by helping them out with their Bushy’s Big Birthday Bash programme and event map, celebrating 20 years of support for the local community at their site in Alton.

We designed a child-friendly, colourful leaflet incorporating a fun site map, to showcase all the wonderful elements of the day which had been organised by a fantastic group of volunteers including Nikki Frayling, Donna Horlock and Jill Worth.

Our map was printed onto A4 leaflets for visitors on the day, and also adorned the welcome tent in all its large-format glory!

The celebrations included fun family events, everything from face painting to a mums’ and dads’ sports day race and the day was deemed a great success, with many old friends and pupils from Bushy Leaze supporting the event.

Undoubtedly the highlight of the afternoon for the children was the two visits from the Air Ambulance team, a noisy one that everyone will remember for years to come! The children loved the bouncy castle, plus the cream teas, BBQ and beer tent where a hit with everyone. Local Councillor Dean Phillips caused a stir by making an appearance in full fancy dress as Captain Jack Sparrow. Move over Johnny Depp!

We vote for it becoming an annual event, with this year’s fundraising totally over £3476, a fabulous amount that will benefit everyone at Bushy Leaze in the years to come.
