MARKETING ACCOUNT MANAGER

We are looking for an exceptional, experienced new member of our team at an exciting time for Mzuri.

We work with some wonderful clients as their off-site marketing team. As a Marketing Account Manager, you will need to be happy juggling the management of existing accounts, working with the team on Mzuri projects to drive the business forward and undertaking business development.

As an experienced Marketing Account Manager, exceptional project management will be second nature to you, enabling you to work closely with clients, our team and external suppliers to deliver from concept to execution. You will embrace the challenge of researching, creating and delivering workable marketing strategies which deliver real results.

You will have either an in-house Marketing or preferably agency background with previous experience of liaising with clients, creative and accounting functions to prepare and communicate budget, client approval and work flow. You will need to follow established budgetary procedures and processes, and foster financial efficiencies for both clients and Mzuri.

It goes without saying that you will be adept at promoting a positive team atmosphere, will have an eye for detail, be highly organised and have excellent communication skills.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key player in the development and growth of Mzuri.

MIDDLEWEIGHT / SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER

We are looking for a talented Middleweight / Senior Graphic Designer to join our team.

We work with some brilliant companies and need a strong, level-headed, confident designer who is highly creative and on top of the latest trends and best practice in design and digital, and is at ease collaborating with the team and with our clients to ensure we deliver the very best on each brief.

In the studio this week we have been working on:
- New websites for a life science company and a consultancy business
- Three high-level bid documents for two clients
- An exhibition stand
- Print and online advertising
- Business cards
- Brand development for a consultancy company
- Office signage and wayfinding
- Email marketing templates edits for a charity
- A school prospectus
- A 6pp A4 company brochure
- Pop up and roadside banners

A few of the essentials:

Brands: Creating and maintaining strong brand identities is at the core of what we do. You will have experience not only in creating brands from scratch, but also in helping to manage them through the creation of innovative, workable, high quality communication solutions across all media, within agreed budgets and timescales.

Digital: You must have a keen interest in digital and UX and be able to work alongside our account managers, website developer, digital marketing specialists and marketing assistants to deliver. We would love to see a proven track record of working on sites of all sizes. At any given time, we can be working on a simple holding page, responsive sites of all sizes and complex database and ecommerce solutions.

Print: We are about 50:50 digital and print in our design output in the studio, so we are seeking a designer who loves, and is adept, at both. You will be experienced at accurately interpreting briefs to produce eye-catching and intelligent designs, preparing artwork for print and managing the print process. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of printed materials including corporate stationery and brochures, direct mail, packaging, signage, livery and promotional items.

Adaptability: Our clients range from local SMEs to global businesses, so you will need to deliver tailored solutions according to the objectives and budget of the individual client, all with the same exceptional levels of service and commitment. You will need to possess good organisational skills and be able to handle multiple projects, staying on brief and on budget.

Relationships: We pride ourselves on delivering the best results for our clients and aim to build long term, effective and mutually rewarding relationships with them to help their businesses thrive. We believe in our creative team being client-facing, so want you to be part of those relationships. Our team thrive on a positive, creative, collaborative atmosphere, so building good relationships within our small team is also essential.

Skills: As you would expect, you will need to possess excellent technical skills in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat). WordPress, CMS, video editing, PowerPoint and other Office Suite knowledge is also advantageous. You will need to be organised and a great communicator.

As well as working on client projects, there will also be the opportunity to work on our own communication materials to help to continue to evolve and shape our brand. We have our own design and marketing to attend to, not least of which our website needs regular input to ensure we are showcasing our latest work.

In short, we are looking for an experienced, creative designer, preferably with agency experience, who is highly motivated, with an eye for detail, a desire to achieve excellent results, a great team attitude and clear and effective communication skills.
