He is cycling his final day tomorrow, where he will cycle 53.69 miles from\u00a0Compi\u00e8nge\u00a0to Paris, the final leg of his 300 mile ride.<br \/>\nMatthew is cycling in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children&#8217;s Charity, Matthews \u2018Fat 2 Fit 2 France\u2019 challenge has not only been to help raise funds for a very worthy cause, but also a way to say thank you to GOSH themselves for all the help, care and support given to Matthew\u2019s son Alexander at the young age of 1 year and 2 months.<\/p>\n<p>To add to the excitement, Great Ormond Street Hospital Children&#8217;s Charity have thanked Matthew for his support and have announced Matthew to be their inspiring <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gosh.org\/gen\/events-and-appeals\/challenge-events\/fundraiser-of-the-month\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>\u2018fundraiser of the month\u2019<\/strong><\/a>. A privilege to be named so and recognition well earned for such an undertaking.<\/p>\n<p>Great Ormond Street Hospital Children\u2019s Charity needs to raise over \u00a350 million each year to make sure the hospital remains the world-class pioneering institution it is today. Support from fundraising events like this helps them to buy vital equipment, fund pioneering research and most importantly rebuild and refurbish some of their hospital site. This redevelopment will allow them to replace inconvenient, cramped outdated wards with new facilities where parents can sleep alongside their child and will mean that children have more space in which to get well.<\/p>\n<p>Matthews target is to raise a massive \u00a35,000 and he is already well on his way to reach this target Matthew hopes to not only reach his target but to go
