What can we do to help our businesses be bold and be memorable?<\/p>\n<p>A recent article in British Airways\u2019 High Life magazine spoke of the importance of standing up, standing out and standing firm and this struck a chord with us at Mzuri.\u00a0 Everyday we work with clients to define their differences and find their points of uniqueness, bringing their stories to life through innovative design, engaging websites, creative content and strong marketing campaigns.\u00a0 As part of this process, it\u2019s essential to take a step back to review what you\u2019re doing and consider ways in which you could do things better. Here\u2019s our take on standing up, standing out and standing firm:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stand up<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Understand what you want to be memorable for, what matters most to your customers?\u00a0 Once you\u2019ve worked that out, build your brand story around this.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stand out<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>How are you going to get people talking about you?\u00a0 Find that one key difference that sets you apart and when the time is right remind people what that is, do something worth talking about and make it memorable.\u00a0 A phrase we quite often use at Mzuri is, \u2018If you do what you\u2019ve always done, you\u2019ll get what you\u2019ve always got\u2019.\u00a0 Mix it up, try something different and measure the response.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stand firm<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Be comfortable with your business and proposition.\u00a0 Your product and offering might not appeal to everyone but staying true to your promise and purpose will help you reach those that will be most receptive.\u00a0 Always check back to your proposition and ensure whatever you do next stays true to that.<\/p>\n<p>Once you have done this soul-searching stick with it and keep telling your story. Explore different channels, share details of how you do what you do and what impact it has on your clients and their clients. It\u2019s more important than ever to communicate regularly and consistently to make sure you are front of mind when your clients or prospects next need your product or service.<\/p>\n<p>If you need target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Anya Hindmarch<\/a>, who created a bold and memorable campaign to promote her forthcoming fashion line during London Fashion Week and ensured her name was everyone\u2019s lips.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-6313\" Anya Hindmarch as a love letter to London and was supported by the Mayor of London, the British Fashion Council and the City of Westminster.\u00a0 Launched on Valentine\u2019s Day this year and continuing throughout London Fashion Week, 29 giant chubby heart balloons were suspended over or squeezed into landmarks across London.\u00a0 The balloons were deflated each evening and moved to a new location, surprising Londoners the next morning.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/YMn26ijrMs4\" width=\"600\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" class=&#8221;mce_SELRES_start&#8221;&gt;\ufeff&lt;\/span&gt;<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The striking hearts provided the perfect photo opportunity for London\u2019s thousands of visitors and the images were shared worldwide on social media, attracting attention as the fashion industry flocked to London, ensuring Anya\u2019s name was top of mind.\u00a0 Such a simple campaign, but it stood out and really
