Butserfest 2015



Butserfest is organised by East Hampshire District Council and is held annually at Queen Elizabeth Country Park near Petersfield, Hampshire. It is unique in providing an opportunity for young people to experience world class live music in an alcohol-free festival environment. Its main aim is to provide affordable, fun and safe entertainment for young people.

We support the Butserfest team with marketing, brand management, design, digital, print, PR and social media.

We have been working with the team at East Hampshire District Council since Spring 2015 when we were commissioned to support their team to plan, manage and deliver the full mix of marketing and promotional materials for Butserfest.

As well as strategic marketing planning, we also act as brand guardians to ensure effective roll out of the plan with the aim of building brand awareness and a reputation as a fun, safe and cool event for young people.

We undertook a strategic review of the festival during the first year of our involvement to inform our understanding of its history, objectives, audiences, plans for growth and core values. Our work covered a range of areas including marketing strategy, website development, graphic design, PR, social media, e-mail marketing, advertising and much more!

Following on from the success of our involvement in 2015, and after a competitive tender, we were delighted to be asked to partner with Butserfest again for the tenth anniversary event in 2016.

We were also commissioned to deliver a new and improved website for Butserfest, which launched early 2016. A fully CMS-controlled, responsive site, it has been very well received and is one of the cornerstones of the 2016 marketing strategy.
