A fresh new brand for Cupec Nuclear Decommissioning and Cupec Bespoke
FEBRUARY 8, 2022
When Charn from Cupec Nuclear Decommissioning came to us looking for a rebrand for both of his businesses, we couldn’t wait to get stuck in and start working on the project.
Cupec Branding: The Brief
With both a Nuclear Decommissioning Consultancy business and a side-passion of hand-crafting high-end wooden furniture, under the brand name Cupec Bespoke, Charn sought a branding concept that straddled the two businesses. Together, we worked to create a modern brand based on a strong ‘C’ device for both Cupec Nuclear Decommissioning and Cupec Bespoke. We added detailing within the ‘C’, nodding to the Fibonacci sequence, to add a further level of depth and meaning to the brand.
Building the brand through an iterative, collaborative process
Here is what Charn had to say about the process of working with us on the rebrand and developing the new Cupec look:
“Once Mzuri were engaged on the project they immediately got to work creating a range of concepts, explaining the rationale behind the concepts and asked for feedback. From there it was an iterative process, working with the Mzuri team to home in on the final branding.”
Alongside the rebrand, we were also pleased to design and print stunning business cards. With a spot-UV finish on luxury heavy board, they were designed to exude the quality synonymous with Charn’s work on both his Nuclear Decommissioning projects and his bespoke furniture creations.
Additionally, we developed two modern, simple websites for this project. Our brief for the initial website builds was a simple, light-touch landing page for each business. The finished result gives a unique landing page for visitors and a good platform for future growth of both websites when the time comes. With the purpose of both websites being a validation tool for referral business, the websites were built on Wix to provide a cost-effective base on which to build.
Charn shared some further thoughts on our collaboration: “Having never undertaken any kind of branding for my company I approached Mzuri asking them to both create a brand as well as develop a website. From the outset they were very helpful, explaining the steps in the process, options I’d have, costs and what input would be required of myself through the process. From initial discussion to completion of the project the Mzuri team were always helpful, professional and clear.”
A huge thank you to Charn for entrusting us with the rebrand and rollout. We love being part of the process of helping clients present their businesses to the outside world in a way that feels authentic and meaningful to them. Our aim is always to create brands and touch-points that clients are proud to show off and that will make a great first impression on their target audience.
