We’re always so excited when our clients are nominated for an award, even more so when we get to work with them on the nomination.
Hampshire based R.M Construction provide specialist residential building, renovation and refurbishment services throughout Surrey. Having worked with R.M Construction to rebrand, design and build a new website and provide ongoing marketing support, we were chomping at the bit to help them with their nomination.
Through their continuous exceptional workmanship, Rhys and his team were put forward in the Best Local Builder category of the Local Authority Building Control Awards, by Waverley Building Control Surveyor Joe Griffin.
Supporting RM Construction with Award Submission
Our first step was to research the awards and find out as much as possible to ensure R.M Construction’s submission ticked all the boxes and stood out from the crowd.
Next, over a coffee, we interviewed Rhys Meredith, Director and Owner of R.M Construction. Asking a host of questions, we gained all of the information we needed about the project and those finer details that really set R.M Construction apart.
When talking to clients, the iPhone memo app has to be one of the easiest ways to record the conversation. Hand written notes are all well and good, but listening back over the conversation while writing, whether it’s for an award submission, a case study or a business plan, is so much easier.
Having written the submission, we worked with Rhys to make sure we had captured the technical details to demonstrate exactly why R.M Construction should win the award. With a final proof read to avoid any unforgivable typos and a team photograph taken, the submission was sent on its way.
R.M.Construction win! Best Local Builder
It was a nail-biting couple of months as we waited to hear if R.M had been shortlisted to attend the South East Regional Awards, held on 21st June at The Grand Hotel Brighton. Not only were they shortlisted, they went onto win the award for Best Local Builder!
It’s such an exciting time when a business wins an award and provides so many additional opportunities to engage with existing and potential clients. Whether you choose to share the news via email, social media, a press release or shout it from the roof tops – when you win, make the most of the fame!
If you’re thinking of entering some awards but aren’t sure how to begin, or how to write and design your submission, call us today and find out how we can help.
