Cornerstone Website Launch

We were delighted to be approached by Gray’s Inn law firm Cornerstone Barristers to work with them on the design and development of their new chambers website.

Originally formed in 1880 by Sir Charles Hall Cornerstone Barristers is a highly regarded London set that specialises in a wide range of legal disciplines. With offices in Wales and Birmingham in addition to the London Chambers the firm operates nationwide and needed a website that could support and promote the growth of the firm as it develops.

The key objective of the website redevelopment was to create a site that was flexible and responsive to the needs of the organisation, allowing the internal team to update and add to the site content regularly, keeping the site as an up to date resource for clients, the legal community and press. The two most important elements of the new design were that the site presented the firm as modern thought leaders and that the back end made keeping all the content updated as easy as possible. The overall design of the new site is clean, modern and professional with a softer and more human element provided by the stunning photography. The design uses, impactful photographic imagery to create a visual, accessible and eye-catching look for the website, encouraging the visitor to investigate further and making wayfinding around the site more intuitive.

While the front end of the site was designed to be as user friendly as possible, the same theory was applied to the back end, using carefully planned automation, filtering and database management to reduce the workload required to maintain and update the site.

Although it has only been launched for a few days, the client is delighted with the new site. It has received a great deal of positive external feedback already and not only that but the range of calls to action and sign up opportunities have generated a significant number of enquiries too.

“We are thrilled with our new website. It was a big project for us and a huge challenge to come up with a site which encapsulates how all our stakeholders feel about the brand, but we managed it thanks to Mzuri. They really understood what we were trying to achieve and came up with innovative ideas and helpful advice throughout the process. We will certainly work with them again.”
