Mzuri’s very own bake off!

Last Friday, the Mzuri team headed down to our local school, Liphook Infants to take part in this year’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning on behalf of Macmillan Cancer Support.

The event invited family and friends of the pupils to donate their own cakes to the charity sale and we just couldn’t resist getting involved for a good cause. Nothing like a bit of healthy competition to bring out the team’s inner bakers with our very own Mzuri bake off!

Minty’s carrot cake was a popular choice amongst the parents in the bake sale, whilst John’s pistachio and citrus sponge, and Phil’s chocolate meringue were auctioned off to the highest bidders in the raffle. It turns out that we have some star bakers amongst the team. Watch out Mary Berry!

The coffee morning was a huge success, with the hall packed out with people queuing to buy their cake. Liphook Infants School raised over £530!

What a fantastic way to end the week!
