Remember, remember the 5th of November

With the wild and woolly weather at the weekend, it wasn’t a great time for fireworks displays. If you missed out, don’t worry, there are still displays happening across Hampshire and Surrey from tonight. See our round-up of local displays below.

Stockheath Common, 5th November

This family-friendly event is free to attend and takes place from 5pm, with rides and slides for the kids, side stalls and fireworks planned for 7pm. It looks like it will be a dry and partly cloudy evening for this one!

Whitehill & Bordon, 6th November

Held at Country Market, this popular display returns for 2019. With not one, but two displays to enjoy, plus a funfair and entertainers – this one is not to be missed! There might be a light drizzle of rain, so take your waterproofs!

St Ives School, 7th November

Viewed over the valley from the lovely school grounds, the St Ives School fireworks are a great family-friendly display for everyone to enjoy from 5.30pm. Jump on the free shuttle bus (no parking on school site) running from Waitrose Haslemere car park between 5 – 530pm, with fireworks planned for 6.30pm.

Wrap everyone one up so they stay warm and dry, whilst enjoying hot dogs, refreshments and candy floss on site.

Beacon Hill, 9th November

A lovely family-friendly bonfire and fireworks event, held at Hindhead Playing Fields. Gates open at 4.30pm with a tasty selection of burgers, hot dogs and vegetarian burgers, mulled wine, hot chocolate and other refreshments available. Plus, a fabulous selection of brilliant ‘glows’!

You can buy your tickets in advance from various local retailers like Red.H, Pins & Needles Grayshott and Dylan’s Milk Barn – or on the gate find out more here.

It looks like it’ll be a chilly evening with the chance of a shower, so wrap up warm and get your wellies on!

Wherever you enjoy your fireworks, be safe, be warm and have fun!

Can we help you with a project?
