Super signage!

Those of you who are local to the area may know that Haslemere is currently undergoing a make-over ‘Gas Board’ style. It’s not as great as it sounds because what it actully means is that two of the main roads into the town centre are closed for a significant period of time while the mains services are upgraded.

However, when this work was first announced, one of our enterprising clients decided to maximise the value of increase traffic being channeled past their practice. Michelle and Fiona at Haslemere Chiropractic Clinic on West Street in Haslemere quickly realised that there would be a great deal more traffic passing their building once Lower Street and Shepherds Hill were closed and understood that to optimise the opportunity presented by this they would need to make their business more physically visible.

With this in mind they approached us to review and redesign their exterior signage. The design that we prepared took full advantage of both aspects of the building to ensure that the signage was visible from as wide an angle on the street as possible. We also increased the size of the signage and included additional information about the practice, making the contact details larger and more visible. We also added a graphic ‘swoosh’ motif to the design to catch the eye and add a designed feel to the layout of the two signs.

It’s been several weeks since we installed Haslemere Chiropractic Clinic’s new signage and to date feedback has been excellent. Michelle offered some feedback after the signs had been in place for a little while, ‘We knew that we wanted new signage for our premises but were unsure how best to maximise the impact of these signs in terms of content and design. Mzuri Design worked carefully with us to establish our needs, then created an innovative design that completely met the brief.  We have found Mzuri Design to be extremely helpful, professional and efficient and are delighted with the end result’.

We are currently considering setting up a Mzuri style blue plaque in Haslemere’s West Street as we realised recently that we have worked on signage and other projects for six of the businesses located there recently!
