Strategic marketing, design and digital support including a new brand and website

Crystal Interactive



Crystal Interactive is the UK's largest full service event technology company, working with organisations to realise the power of their event audiences. 

We started working with Crystal at the beginning of 2017 on a range of projects. From inital work on design and delivery of a pop up banner and conference stand, the relationship developed and resulted in our involvement across a much broader remit. This included development and delivery of a comprehensive marketing strategy, a range of design projects , including a new brand identity with roll out across all client touch points, PR and the development and launch of a new website. 

We were first approached by Crystal Interactive to deliver a full exhibition stand and supporting pop up banners within a very tight time schedule and to maximise their presence at Confex, the UK's leading event for organisers of both national and international events.

We tapped into our extensive experience of designing conference materials, to advise on style and content and ultimately developed an impactful stand design.

Having risen to the initial challenge, Crystal expanded the scope of our relationship to include our broader involvement in several areas of marketing strategy and design. We were asked to develop and implement a strategic marketing plan following Crystal's acquisition of IML from Lumi in January 2017.

Planning and running a series of stakeholder workshops enabled us to utilise the combined knowledge and existing equity within the newly merged company, to develop a unified plan for its vision and values. By early involvement of the wider team we were able to achieve full team buy-in, in order to ensure a smooth roll out of the strategy moving forward.

To mark the significant changes within the evolving company, Crystal briefed us to work on the development of their logo. This concluded with a complete re-design of the logo, along with a new colour palette, type face and brand guidelines. These were then rolled out onto the full spectrum of stationery products, including letterheads, business cards, compliment slips and pens, branding equipment, t-shirts and external signage for their new office.

To complete the re-branding process, we designed, created and launched a new website in line with the new company values and strategy.  In addition to the above, we are also developing and implementing a monthly PR and communications programme.
