Since the start of our collaboration with Transport Times, we have supported them not only in the development and nurturing of their online presence, but also in streamlining their systems. By developing a brand new content management system (CMS) from the ground up, we merged their existing customer and magazine subscription databases (totalling tens of thousands of customers) into one unified system which we also synchronised with their online email marketing tool, Mailchimp.
Alongside this, we incorporated an online booking system for their events and created secure submission and judging areas for the regional and national awards they hold annually. Appropriate access was given to different areas of the database system to ensure appropriate levels of information sharing for in-house and third party partners. Their website is therefore not only the cornerstone of their communications with their audience but also a powerful business information management system.
In 2018, coinciding with their magazine moving to online content only, we again refreshed their digital presence and further developed the database functionality behind the site, integrating the two separate divisions (Magazine and Events) into one seamless offering. It was key to build upon the look and feel of their established brand which they were keen to retain while taking the opportunity to refresh the design and user experience.
We developed a new look for Transport Times online, which included refining and streamlining the user experience to allow greater accessibility to their full range of content. We built upon the existing fully CMS controlled site, creating a more striking and functional aesthetic which the team could nurture themselves going forward, this included a specific focus on the events and the 'insight' area of the site.
We continue to support the team on nurturing their online presence as well as a further programme of developments to support fluid information management within their business, via the website.

Mzuri helped us to launch our new website in 2015, coinciding with the 10th anniversary of our magazine. Our magazine has since moved to online content only, with the main focus now on our events.
